Under the School of Environment and Life Sciences, the Department of Environmental Science and Management at IUB, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Gulshan Lake City, organized a tree plantation program at the University campus in Bashundhara R/A on July 26, 2020.
To make the environment more vivacious & exuberant during this ongoing pandemic, Prof. Milan Pagon, Vice Chancellor (Acting), IUB formally inaugurated the program by planting a sapling at IUB Sports Complex. Prof. Shah M. Faruque, Dean, School of Environment & Life Sciences, Dr. Ayaz Rabbani, Head, Department of Environmental Science and Management, Prof. Md. Abdul Khaleque and students of the Department were also present during the occasion.
Earlier, Mozibur Rahman Mridha, District Deputy Governor, Rotary International and Karima F Yeasmin, Member, Rotary Club of Gulshan Lake City handed over wide range of saplings to IUB.
